Disney Removes Hollywood Tower Hotel Letters From Tower of Terror

The Hollywood Tower Hotel Sign Removed from Tower of Terror in Disney California Adventure

The Hollywood Tower Hotel Sign Removed from Tower of Terror in Disney California AdventureOn Monday night the Disneyland Resort removed the signage to the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror in Disney California Adventure. On Monday a crane appeared behind the tower on Monday and by Tuesday the letters identifying the Tower of Terror as the Hollywood Tower Hotel had disappeared.

The removal of this sign is a very visible first step towards the Tower of Terror’s transition to Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! Tower of Terror will remain in operation until January 2, 2017. Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT will arrive in the summer of 2017.

What do you think of this first change to this attraction?
