Aria for a cow

‘Aria For a Cow’ Animated Short to Make Los Angeles Premiere

After much hard work, the animated short Aria For a Cow is to be presented on September 6th in Los Angeles. The short which is based off of a “previously unreleased song by the Oscar-winning team of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken,” brings to life a diva cow named Aria.

Aria is just not your average cow. She is known for her singing and dancing talents.

When a callow young farmer shows himself to be completely uninterested in the sensitive art of milking cows, a bovine diva named Aria and her singing/dancing back up bulls belt out a tune demanding respect for more than just dairy products. Aria and her friends take us through a fast-paced musical journey, which ends with our young farmer learning to treat all life with love and respect.

The animated work will be presented at the LA Shorts Fest in downtown Los Angeles. Though the short is only seven minutes long, audiences are bound to be entertained. So far, the short has made its rounds at the San Francisco International Film Festival, Palm Springs International Short Fest and Anima Mundi in Sāo Paulo, Brazil, each giving the short a positive review.

The short was directed and written by Disney veteran, Dan Lund. He is also known for his work in films such as The Lion King, Mulan, Tarzan and much more.
