Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland Coming to Disney California Adventure

DAPs Magic Disney News – by Mr. DAPs

This morning, it was announced by Erin Glover on the Disney Parks Blog that the world of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland will be coming to Disney California Adventure every night this summer as part of the Mad T Party. This is being billed as a “family celebration” that will replace ElecTRONica for the 2012 summer season.

According to Glover, there will be a ” live band, unique entertainment, fun-filled games and plenty of dancing” in a “bright and vivid alternate reality.” It can be guessed that the area currently housing ElecTRONica will redressed to create an immersive Tim Burton styled Wonderland area.  It is unknown how much of Hollywood Pictures Backlot the Mad T Party will take over.

There will also be uniquely themed beverages, foods, and merchandise for the Mad T Party.

What do you think of the Mad T Party? Is it more or less appealing than ElecTRONica to you? Will it make it onto your list of things you need to do when visiting the Disneyland Resort?
