into the news uh Agatha all along finished only murders in the building

also finished which was crazy that they both were like at the same time yeah that was a little bit insane um more

like disappointing because I'm like well now what am I gonna watch true uh let's start with only murders in the building

it finished up we already know it's coming back for another season is fantastic what did you think overall

overall of the entire season and then what did you you think of the ending um

I thought the entire season was very beautiful I think the thing that only murders does very well is that it gives

you an Agatha Christie who' done it but it also gives you this like extremely

compelling story of people that love each other um and that's platonic love

it's romantic love it's sibling esque love um they just all have fun doing it

you can tell yeah but I'm thinking specifically of like the sad story line and like that's I think that um the show

is just a really good representation of people that care about each other and I love it in the ending the ending made me

sad I won't get into spoilers because I won't do that to you guys but the ending

made me sad um I think it's very

interesting um and I I feel like there's a bit of a conspiracy that we're about to unwrap and I feel like it has

something to do with all I also feel like it was a re-shoot really I think they shot the ending once they knew oh

once they knew for sure yeah I think there were I think somewhere there was probably if this was ever released on a

really great DVD or Blu-ray I guess with a bunch of bonus features there would be the you know how they have the alternate

scenes yeah you're like here's the other ending that we almost had like I think I

think there's definitely the possibility of like oh if we don't get picked up this is our ending yeah oh we have been

picked up so this is the the the other direction we're going to go just my hunch um I do think there's still some

loose ends to tie up from season one though so always um I thought it was a great

season I thought it was a lot of fun so I think it's a the thing about only murders in the building is it's just a

fun ride and they make up all the rule it's kind of like um Whose Line is it in

Whose Line Is It Anyway because it's completely just a Steve Martin and team

making the show they want to make the way they want to make it and following the storyline that they want to follow

like hm but who cares because they're having fun well and that's what really gets me about only murders to go my soap

box for a second and I saw people a lot of people actually claiming you know DSX Machina that's that's not it's never

going to be realistic first of all this many murders in one apartment building they would have shut the place down by

now um or more realistically the management company of the aronia would

have kicked them out for running a business about the aronia yeah or something or just been

saying hey we don't want you here because you're making us look or yeah like they probably been sued for

defamation or something that's true you have to suspend disbelief this lives in a silly little world where a detective

comes two people running a podcast and says here here's some Clues yeah like

exactly it's a silly it's like if Agatha Christie had a really good sense of humor I agree I don't think she did um I

thought the ending was great I actually really enjoyed it how they tied it all up and um and I thought it was it was

fitting for what it was and I'm looking forward to seeing where they go next season U because the further out they get the more in they get which is as

opposed to you kind of expected it to just kind of branch and go further on it's like oh no it all comes back like

they've they've done a really good job of keeping everything focused on the on the building and I really love that uh

Agatha all along yes it had nine episodes instead of 10 yeah uh it finished this last week as well first

off the entire season what did you think of this well actually it's the whole show what do you think of this show

absolutely incredible home run for Marvel one of the best things they've ever put out

um I feel like I have to say Rio I was goingon to say I feel like it's a no-brainer for you that it's Rio um but

interesting development and I liked how that progressed his story and uh and will progress I presume I don't know um

like I liked that the most and yeah I think easily teen actually the more I

think about it see and Rio's just one of my favorite tropes of the tough girl who has a really big soft side that people

think or have this opinion of like oh you're so mean or oh you're so this but she's actually just a big softy who

loves really really hard um and I just I loved Rio a whole lot and she's less a

green witch more the green witch okay that's that's one the best

parts uh what do you think of the ending and we'll we'll consider both episodes the ending the last two okay for

considering both episodes great hit the mark um having watched the two episodes

spaced out I thought that there was some weird pacing issues that I don't know that's the way that I would have

necessarily told the story but I also don't make films or TV shows or movies

for a living um to me episodes one through eight are a near perfect run

especially because episode eight is insane like that's Lily's episode insane

one of the best things Marvel's ever put out ever and she probably the best performance in the show Patty Leone but

like there's still lots of opportunities for good performances in this and and I thought she killed it um like that

episode into so it's episode seven into episode eight near perfect string um I think if

they had tied up a few loose ends earlier in the season I think that would have been the Perfect finale um episode

9 just felt like a weird pacing to me to be the finale if I'm being completely honest um um but also like that doesn't

to to me it does not take away how I felt about the show as a whole um I

still think the show was incredible it was just walking away from the finale I went huh interesting choice I agree uh I

thought the nine was a total Miss um like I'm I'm not going to sugarcoat it I I felt like they knew that they had to

answer certain questions and I felt like they didn't really know how to tie wrap up that bow or make that bow whatever it

is and um and so where I thought the first Eight Episodes there wasn't the

moment I looked at my watch like I was just engross the entire time yeah and then nine it felt like oh we have to do

this part of me almost thinks no you didn't yeah like gu the story

elements I get it like it makes it made things make sense but

um maybe they maybe they took too long and they could have like combined eight and n and mixed them up a little bit

more like frame it a little bit think that it could have been framed I just think most of episode

that was a finale like it felt like close the chapter we are done it did not

feel like there was anything more to do so as actually I remember turning to you and going we still have another episode

like are we sure we didn't get them mixed up somehow because it just felt like there's this Grand climactic scene

there's this energy there's all this stuff happening I was like oh heck yeah

and then W and then we actually added an addendum that didn't feel still a very

good show but still amazing um also yes Patty Leone should get an N I think the funny thing is is Agatha all along of

the two shows was the better show for highlights within the show like it had

higher highs yeah only murders in the buildings didn't have any of the lower lows yeah that se or episode 9 was so I

feel like in some ways I liked only murders in the building a little bit better just because it was more solid it

was like I had the same I was happy the entire time there was never any like huh and and I mean I all along didn't have

maybe it is more but music by John Williams the documentary is now on Disney plus and it is fantastic it is a

heartfelt tribute to the the man that's the M of the movies that written so many

soundtracks to our lives but this goes into his life from very young age up to basically now and you hear details about

his life that you normally don't hear you you see the the context of when things are made you see

the context of the relationships of when things were made and how they came to be and uh how things could have been so

much different if these relationships weren't in place and and they hadn't worked together with John Williams and

or Johnny Williams for the first part of his career um but I thought it was a

fantastic documentary if not the best documentary currently on Disney plus what did you think I think it's one of

the best documentaries I've ever watched a period oh there you go um and I love documentaries okay I think

that needs to be said I love a good documentary this is moving it is heartfelt I was so tired

but I stayed awake and watched it anyway because it is like one of and that says a lot I could love something and I will

and like it talks about things that inspired John Williams it talks about

things that were happening in his life that were bringing him to this point his wife dying his wife dying and way more

fascinating and it's I think his grandson is the one that says it of you know my grandfather never talked about

his feelings but he said what he was feeling through his music and so

they go into these scores that are so heart-wrenching and they're they're beautiful but they're so sad and it's

like those were coming from places of grief or the conero that he wrote is it

it's a violin conero I believe for his first wife and it's full of like this heartbreaking Agony and I think that

are 90% of a music Major I was in show choir so like I don't really

know what's going on they were going into some indepth you said his music theory 101 to me was to me I was like oh

my God this is like PhD level music theory but they're talking no was it was music theory 101 anyway I thought it was

a very effective music theory 101 and I'm like I don't know what's happening and you're like I know exactly what's

happening it was great but it's still registered for both of us so do I know anything about instrument

no I played violin and it was terrible in the fourth grade like that's what I did

um but I still I think sometimes some of these documentaries can feel so inaccessible because you're like well I

don't understand the medium like I don't understand writing a symphony I don't

understand anything about music or the way it's supposed to make me feel I just know it makes me feel that and I think

that they did such a good job explaining these things and um I was just love John

Williams like I think he is such a delight and such a treasure and some my

favorite moments in the doc are him and Steven Spielberg together yeah they were very fun but it was also interesting

hearing like George Lucas saying that if John Williams hadn't done the music for episodes one two and three he wouldn't

have made the movies four five and six nope he said one two and three um oh

those one yes um but uh it was interesting just to see the different

parts of his life um How They Carried through like it's a solid documentary if

you haven't seen it watch it you have seen it watch it again because Disney needs to see that this is a good

documentary and the way they see that is by minutes watched and so the more minutes that are watched of this even

you just turn on and listen to it that tells them we like this kind of stuff we want more of this and uh hopefully we

get more things like this because I just think solid you know two thumbs up hats

the best part about this is Disney attractions are meant to be enjoyed by families and once it's open it will be

I think the preview was over for the day and so you just see the logs fall which is great I guess but there's something

very magical about walking in that area of the park and hearing the screams every what 30 seconds 45 seconds

whatever that is and um and so it'll be fun to see that area of the park come to

life even more than it already is with the opening of hungry bear with RIS Beret um I guess that's pretty much open

those shows but usually it was like growing up when you had the main channels and then every like it wasn't

on cable um you got the one opportunity you've got like 22 minutes or whatever

it is to watch one of these Charlie Brown specials for the entire season now

another thing that's great candy cane dates the candy cane dates for the Disneyland Resort have been

announced there are different days for Disneyland and Disney California Adventure so you've got opportunities to

go and get handmade candy canes and this is one of those things

that I feel like you have to do it at least once not me you don't have any interest no have you had one though are

people bring and they like here try it okay why would I do that well you don't like peppermint but

still it's a Christmas tradition at Disneyland um anyway we've got the dates we've got the way to be able to get

these and watch them made but know that they're very limited every day they made

know that you are going to be waiting in line you probably need to get to the parks at least an hour before and then

you're going to get in line wristbands it's either wristband or mobile weight list yeah so one or two of the ways just

people in line once they're already in there um they're very uh I don't want to say strict but they

are some like the best candy canes in Southern California I'm not going to say the whole world there's a lot of places in the whole world I'm gonna admit I

really yeah like one a year or something you know like I'm not a huge candy person but um not it's the text they're

not like you know the ones you get at the store are like rock hard candy kind of um these were not quite as rock hard

oh and so it was it was just a different texture like there was fine like there was nothing wrong with it it was

slightly different um to me for they're also huge which I think that's a perk

they have some they have a really cute uh Snoopy ice show that they're bringing back I love the ice show it's so good um

they have home for the holidays which is this big song and dance number um that's and that very fun it feels like I a um

white Christmas or a a white Christmas in California but I'm trying to think of

another Christmas film from that era I think that's the one but like it does feel like white Christmas on stage it's

that schaly old school musical thing and it's like we're singing and we're dancing and

then there's toy soldiers and then oh there's brother and sister going down the chimney and they see Santa Claus and

I don't know there's the melodrama in ghost town at The Bird Cage Theater fight got the The Gift of the Magi or

something like that that's also good um and then if that's not enough tree

lighting it said tree lighting new new tree lighting this year remember maybe there's just so many things happening new tree lighting uh there's also uh

Adelaide will be performing over in uh Fiesta Village and snow will be coming

down and ghost town we have to figure out a better system we really do um I told you what

it is we just have to get it um see now I'm screen above me again um snow will

be coming down in ghost town and perhaps the most fun maybe not the most fun but an added bonus is all of the foods that
