On Saturday, August 16, 2026, D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event hosted Horizons: A Carousel of Progress at the Honda Center. This Disney Experiences Showcase wrapped up the second day of this ultimate Disney fan event in Anaheim. It was packed with updates, news, and some incredible performances by host Neil Patrick Harris and other guests. Throughout the night, fans were dazzled by the entertainment while also getting informed about what’s happening and what’s coming from Disney Experiences. It really was edutainment at its finest!
Daps Magic was on hand to report on the night. This included filming the entirety of the showcase. Below is the entire showcase, followed by highlights of what was shared throughout the night. This included appearances from Disney leaders, Imagineers, and special guests, including Bruce Vaughn, Leslie Iwerks, Jared Bush, Kevin Feige, Mark Rober, John Stamos, Tig Notaro, Darren Criss, Skylar Astin, Jack McBrayer, and Glenn Close. There were also performances by Gloria Gaynor, Los Lobos, Sheryl Crow, and Beck, along with musical moments from Megan Hilty, Darren Criss, and Skylar Astin, accompanied by the show’s house band, The Phoenicians.
