Season six of Only Murders in the Building has Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez) heading to London to solve the murder of rival podcaster Cinda Canning (Tina Fey). Recently, photos and videos have popped up on the internet showing the trio filming this new season. In previous years, a new season has dropped in the late summer/early fall. This year, things will be a bit different. Today it was announced that season six of Only Murders in the Building will be arriving on Hulu on December 8, 2026. The announcement was made with the following social media post:
The upcoming season of the series has an incredible list of guest cast members. This includes multiple Doctor Who alumni and other illustrious actors. Most recently, it was announced that Olivia Coleman will be joining. This news was announced with a cute video on social media with Selena Gomez, Martin Short, and Meryl Streep. “We have had so many amazing guest stars for ‘Only Murders’ in London,” Gomez says in the video. Streep adds, “Yeah, but we’re just missing one!” After a brief moment of confusion with Martin Short, Olivia Colman is revealed as the next guest star. Here’s the video:

It is unknown if this is the entire guest star list at this point. The roles for all of these cast members aren’t known either. What is known is that it is an impressive lineup that could really lead to a whole lot of fun during the upcoming season.
