Special musical groups perform at the Disneyland Resort throughout the year. This can be for Lunar New Year, Food & Wine Festival, Halloween Time, and Festival of Holidays. These groups help set the tone for whatever festival or event is happening.
One favorite group returning is the Mariachi Divas. The Mariachi Divas are a Southern California-based all-female Mariachi group. In September 2003, they were discovered by Stan Freese, talent booking director for Disney Resorts, and became the official mariachi band of Disneyland Resort. They quickly became a fixture at Disney California Adventure and Downtown Disney. They have also headlined Disney festivals such as the holiday-themed “Viva Navidad”.
The Mariachi Divas will be performing this weekend, August 29 and 30, as well as October 11 and October 24 in Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure. Their performance times are as follows: 11:15 am, 12:15 pm, 1:15 pm, 2:45 pm, 3:45 pm, and 4:45 pm. This news was shared on the Mariachi Divas Instagram page.
The Mariachi Divas are excited to be back at Disney California Adventure once again. Daps Magic is also excited about their return. They are a group that shouldn’t be missed if the opportunity to see them exists. These days give a great opportunity to see them!
