New Black Panther Revealed at San Diego Comic-Con

A new Black Panther has been revealed for Black Panther III at San Diego Comic-Con. This happened during the Marvel Studios panel, which was hosted by studio head Kevin Feige. A highlight of the panel was the revelation that there was indeed a Black Panther III happening and that Academy Award winner Ryan Coogler would be directing it.

Coogler joined Feige on the stage for this announcement. They were soon joined by Letitia Wright and Winston Duke. This led to the confirmation that Black Panther III will be arriving in theaters on December 15, 2028. The most surprising moment of the panel, which was also incredibly emotional, was when Coogler revealed that David Jonsson (Alien: Romulus, Industry) is the new Black Panther.
