The Disney Believe is the next ship that is currently being built and will be joining the Disney Cruise Line in 2027. Since it was initially announced, fans have been anxiously waiting to learn more about this ship. Soon, new details will be revealed about this Wish-class ship. Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line announced a live stream on October 7th. This will serve as the official reveal for the ship. It may include the theme of the Grand Hall (and the statue within), dining experiences, shows at The Walt Disney Theatre, stern character(s), lounges, and other surprises.

On top of this livestream, guests who are sailing aboard the Disney Wish on the October 5th voyage will get an incredible opportunity for a magical and memorable experience. Susan Egan will give a special one-night-only performance that is inspired by the Disney Believe on October 7th as well. Egan will become a Disney Legend on August 16, 2026 at the Disney Legend Ceremony at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
About the Disney Believe
Disney Believe will be a tribute to those dreamers and doers who dare to pursue their own happily ever after. The ship will be packed with Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars stories and characters that fans know and love. This will include the world-class entertainment that can only be brought to life by Disney. There will also be some magical spaces and details found throughout the ship. This will bring these stories to life at sea like never before.
When guests board the Disney Believe, they will experience powerful tales of characters who believe in themselves and their dreams. Some of the stories that guests will experience aboard this ship have already been revealed. This includes:
- Encanto
- Frozen
- Snow White
- Moana
- The Little Mermaid
The new ship is scheduled to debut sometime late in 2027. It will become the fourth Wish-class ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. It will join the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, and Disney Destiny.
Disney Cruise Line Fleet Expansion
This comes during a time of expansion for the Disney Cruise Line. This will see the introduction of a new class of ships in 2029. Disney Cruise Vacations will also be introduced in Japan in 2029 thanks to an agreement between Disney and the Oriental Land Co., Ltd. (OLC). Ultimately, at this time, the Disney Cruise Line fleet is expected to grow to the size of 13 ships by 2031. With D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event coming up next month, this could potentially change.
