June 9 marks the 20th anniversary of Disney-Pixar’s Cars. Set in a world populated by anthropomorphic vehicles, the film follows a young, self-obsessed racecar named Lightning McQueen who, on the way to the most important race of his life for the Piston Cup, becomes stranded in a forgotten town along Route 66 called Radiator Springs, where he learns about friendship and begins to reevaluate his priorities.

To celebrate the film’s 20th anniversary, a Lightning McQueen Bucket will be racing to the Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort starting June 9. The bucket lights up and comes with a Cars-themed strap. A video on the Disney Eats and Disney Parks Instagram pages showed Lightning McQueen racing around Cars Land at Disney California Adventure Park. Cars Land is inspired by Cars and opened on June 16, 2012, as part of the re-imagining of Disney California Adventure.
There will be a limit of two per person, per transaction. The Lightning McQueen Bucket will be available while supplies last.
