Greta Lee - Toy Story 5 World Premiere

Greta Lee Talks Humanizing Lilypad at ‘Toy Story 5’ World Premiere

Last week, stars and cast took to the red carpet for the world premiere of Toy Story 5. This came ahead of the arrival of the newest Pixar film in theaters on June 19, 2026. When fans do see this newest chapter in the Toy Story franchise, they will be introduced to Lilypad. Lilypad is the film’s antagonist that addresses the questions surrounding the value of toys in an increasingly technological world. At the red carpet for the film, the voice of Lilypad, Greta Lee, shared about her approach to voicing a new digital device character, sharing how she moved past initial impressions to find the relatable, human heart inside a piece of technology. “It’s just really fun to actually play her like a person… a person who’s like not always right but has the best intentions,” Lee said.
