Check Out What’s Coming For the 2026 Holidays at Disney World

Disney is celebrating Halfway to the Holidays this week! This has led to multiple announcements and reveals on the Disney Parks Blog. This includes information about holiday parties, merchandise, overlays, and other offerings for Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts. For Walt Disney World, the holidays will begin on November 13, 2026, and continue through January 6, 2027. There is a lot of ground to cover, so we will do our best to simplify what is coming and what is being offered this year.

Magic Kingdom

Entertainment Highlights

  • Frozen Holiday Surprise! returns and sees Frozen friends from Arendelle as Olaf and over 100 of his snowgie siblings add garlands, ornaments, wreaths, and more to Cinderella Castle. There are appearances of Anna, Kristoff, and a magical moment from Elsa as she transforms Cinderella Castle into a glowing ice palace. This is a nightly offering.
  • Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away is offered on nights without Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Decor

  •  Main Street, U.S.A., offers postcard-perfect picture locations throughout the holiday season.
  • Take photos at other iconic locations throughout Magic Kingdom, including Cinderella Castle, TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise, Space Mountain, and Haunted Mansion.

World-Famous Jingle Cruise

  • The skippers are bringing their festive form of fun to the Jungle Cruise and will transform it into the world-famous Jingle Cruise this holiday season.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

  • The separately ticketed Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World is returning on select nights throughout the season. Check out the details here.

EPCOT

EPCOT is a beautiful place to visit during the holiday season. Here is a look at some of the highlights of this merry time to visit Walt Disney World’s second theme park:

  • EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays runs from November 27 to December 30, 2026. Details can be found here.
  • Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses returns!
  • Spaceship Earth will light up the night with seasonal projections and lighting effects.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios celebrates the holidays in ways that are reminiscent of Christmases gone by. It is a beautiful place to stop during the holiday season and has some lovely holiday offerings.

  • Disney Jollywood Nights will be offered on select nights throughout the holiday season. Details can be found here.
  • Sunset Seasons Greetings will bring the exterior of Tower of Terror to life with holiday scenes on a nightly basis.
  • For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration allows fans to sing along to some of their favorite tunes from this beloved frigid film.
  • Get a photo with Toy Story friends in their holiday outfits.
  • Minnie’s Holiday Dine gives guests a chance to enjoy the season as they dine at Hollywood & Vine with Minnie and friends. This is a festive special dining experience. Reservations are suggested.
  • Walt Disney Presents will be offering some classic holiday installations in its exhibits and short films, including Walt Disney’s On IcePluto’s Christmas Tree, and The Art of Skiing starring Goofy.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a great place for experiencing a wild holiday celebration. There are plenty of holiday experiences to enjoy at this beautiful park.

  • Merry Menagerie will see beautiful holiday decor, artisan-sculpted puppets of arctic animals come to life around Discovery Island.
  • Artist Rob Kaz will be on hand at Island Mercantile in Discovery Island throughout the holiday season. He will also be greeting guests inside Island Mercantile from November 1 through November 22. Stop by and say hi, check out his artwork, and then take some home!
  • Watch the Tree of Life come to life each night during the Tree of Life Awakenings Holiday Edition.
  • Meet Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in the holiday exploration outfits at Adventurers Outpost.

Disney Springs

There is no shortage of holiday fun to be found at Disney Springs. With special seasonal menus, entertainment offerings, and decorations, Disney Springs is a beautiful place to visit during the holiday season.

  • The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll will be returning with a wide collection of trees decorated with inspiration from Disney, Pixar Animation Studios, and Star Wars.
  • The beautiful snowfall moment will be returning to the Town Center.
  • Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar will be making its return with decorations and special seasonal menu offerings.
  • The AdventHealth Waterside Stage will be offering a rotating lineup of regional and local bands on select nights.
  • For those doing holiday shopping, stop by Disney’s Days of Christmas and World of Disney.

Santa Claus

Santa Claus is a very busy guy during the holiday season. He will be making stops at the following locations:

  • Magic Kingdom
  • EPCOT
  • Disney’s Hollywood Studios
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom
  • Disney Springs

Disney Resorts Collection

Throughout the Disney Resorts Collection hotels during the holiday season, there are plenty of holiday offerings to be enjoyed by those who are staying or dining at one of these hotels. This includes:

  • Disney Resorts Collection offers a wide array of bright and merry holiday decor.
  • Many Disney Resorts Collection hotels offer themed food and beverage items during the holiday season, such as special holiday treats. 

Special Offers

There are quite a few special offers that will be available during the holidays for those visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. Some of the highlights of these deals include:

  • Eligible Disney+ subscribers enrolled in the Disney+ Perks program can receive a free Park Hopper add-on and save up to 25% on rooms when purchasing a 4-night, 4-day room-and-ticket package. Details at disneyplus.com/perks.
  • 20% discount on select rooms with the Disney Resorts Collection this holiday season. This offer is available to book starting June 25 for stays October 4-December 24.
  • Florida Residents and Annual Passholders can also access special discounts.
