Dates and Details Revealed for 2026 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

It’s halfway to the holidays for the Disney Parks, and it’s hard to believe it, but it is already time to start planning for the holiday parties at the Walt Disney World Resort. In just a few weeks, tickets will begin to go on sale for its holiday parties. One of these parties is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. On select nights, this holiday party takes over Magic Kingdom with plenty of merriment to be had by all who attend.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a separately ticketed event that celebrates the most wonderful time of the year at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Guests who attend will get to experience festive entertainment, overlays on classic rides, a storybook holiday atmosphere, and delicious sweet treats! This party is very popular, so pick your dates early(as seen below) and plan to get tickets as quickly as possible!

For guests who are attending this magical Christmas party, they can enter the Magic Kingdom at 4:00 PM ahead of the official start of the party at 7:00 PM.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Dates

This year’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be offered on select nights between Sunday, November 8, and Tuesday, December 22. Here are this year’s dates:

  • November 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 24, 25, 27, 29
  • December 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Ticket Sale Dates

Tickets will go on sale for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in July. The first guests who will be able to get tickets will be guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green. They can purchase tickets on July 9th. Ticket sales will open up for all other guests on July 16th.

Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can purchase tickets to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at discounted prices. They can do this online or by calling 407-934-7639.

Meeting Mickey & Friends at the Party

Throughout Magic Kingdom during this Christmas party, there are plenty of Disney friends to be found. Mickey & friends will be adding holiday cheer with their warm greetings and magical moments as guests meet and take photos with them. Below is a look at where to find a couple of the Disney characters throughout the night. More characters and locations will be released at a later date.

  • Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in their finest holiday looks

Meet Santa Claus

Guests can also meet Santa Claus during this Christmas Party. This can be done at Santa’s Christmas Carnival in Storybook Circus. Specifically, Santa can be found near Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Barnstormer. Along with visiting Santa, guests will also be able to participate in making crafts and meet other friends who are bursting with holiday spirit!

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade 

One of the most beloved traditions of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade. This very merry performance includes dancing gingerbread men, ballroom dancing, marching toy soldiers, and upbeat holiday music and scents that help bring to life the holiday spirit.

During this parade, guests will get to experience the magic of Christmas and see favorite Disney characters dressed in their holiday best. The parade culminates with the arrival of Santa Claus, who wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Note: This parade starts in Frontierland and makes its way to Town Square in the Magic Kingdom. Spots can be found along the entire parade route to see this offering.

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks 

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks is a magical fireworks spectacular that is hosted by Minnie Mouse herself! It includes favorite holiday classics like Deck the Halls and We Wish You a Merry Christmas that are accompanied by incredible pyrotechnics, castle projections, and lighting effects.

Cinderella Castle will come to life with beautiful holiday scenes synchronized with the music and fireworks above. This beautiful show can be watched from the front of the castle to see the projections. The fireworks display can be seen from throughout Magic Kingdom, including wonderful views found in Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland.

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Parties will be returning as well. This is a separately priced experience that includes treats that will sweeten the night even more while also offering wonderful views of the show. Reservation details haven’t been announced yet, but they will be coming soon.

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration 

Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration sees the Cinderella Castle stage come to life with Disney friends who remind us all why it is the happiest season of all. This show includes many favorite Disney friends, like Clarabelle Cow, Daisy Duck, and Woody from Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story films making appearances.

Frozen Holiday Surprise & Dance Parties in the Park 

Frozen Holiday Surprise sees Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and the snowgies transform Cinderella Castle into a frozen wonderland as they ring in the season. This is a wonderful show that is a must-see for Frozen fans!

There are also dance parties found throughout the park to dance the night away. These holiday dance parties give guests the chance to enjoy music from DJs as they dance with some holiday friends.

Rides at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Along with the entertainment, the sweets, and the characters, there are also rides that will be open during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Some of these attractions get some holiday makeovers. This includes:

  • Space Mountain
  • Tomorrowland Speedway
  • Mad Tea Party
  • Jungle Cruise
  • Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor

Along with these attractions getting holiday overlays, classic attractions will also be available during the party. Here are just a few that will be open:

  • Pirates of the Caribbean 
  • Big Thunder Mountain Railroad 
  • Haunted Mansion 
  • Seven Dwarfs Mine Train 
  • Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin 
  • And more! 

Merchandise

During the party, the Emporium will be the place to visit to find exclusive party merchandise! While details haven’t been revealed about what will be offered yet, be sure that they will be magical and merry!

Sweet Treats and More

Throughout the party, there will be plenty of sweet treats to be enjoyed. There will be a variety of cookies, festive beverages, and more that will be handed out to guests at select locations throughout Magic Kingdom. These are included in the cost of the party ticket and add to the festive spirit of the night. The My Disney Experience App and holiday party maps that are handed out at the entrance of Magic Kingdom will show where to find these treats.

Disney shares that it will be releasing a look at all of the seasonal food and beverage offerings with a guide in the future. Daps Magic will monitor this and share the information when it becomes available.
