New Tiki Mug Coming for 15th Anniversary of Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar

It’s hard to believe it, but Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar is turning 15 years old this year! As the big celebration draws closer, the popular Tiki bar at the Disneyland Hotel has been getting some tender loving care in the form of a refurbishment. To celebrate, Trader Sam’s is releasing a new Tiki Mug along with some specialty menu items. Below is a look at this new Tiki mug, along with the specialty items on the menu.

The new Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar 15th Anniversary Hyena Mug will be available via mobile order starting as early as 6:00 AM PT on May 29th. Mobile Order arrival windows for designated pick-up hours at the Disneyland Hotel Grand Ballroom are from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM PT. The mug can be signed by its designer, Disney Imagineer Rich Kirchhoff, for a limited time on May 29th. The mug will be available for general purchase at Trader Sam’s starting on May 30th. Only two mugs can be purchased per transaction. These will only be available while supplies last.

BBQ Chicken Flatbread: Teriyaki chicken, red onions, mozzarella cheese, micro herbs, Fresno chilies, green onions, and pineapple (option to add Kālua pork) (NEW)

Chicken Katsu Curry: Crispy chicken cutlet, Japanese curry, jasmine rice, soy-marinated egg, and pickled ginger (NEW)

Furikake Fries: Beer-battered French fries, furikake, green onions, and gochujang aioli (NEW)

Ka-Blue-ie!: Bacardi Superior Rum, Bols Blue Curaçao, Pineapple Juice, Coco Real

Lost Safari: Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, Sam’s Gorilla Grog, Grenadine, Myers’s Dark Rum

Ginger’s Pear-adise: Absolut Pears Vodka, Canton Ginger, Lime Juice, Agave Nectar

Old Kungaloosh: Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Malibu Rum, Midori Melon, Pineapple & Cranberry Juices

Rosita’s Margarita: Herradura Reposado Tequila, Bols Orange Curaçao, Lime Juice, Agave Nectar, Falernum

Over the last 15 years, Trader Sam’s has released many different Tiki mugs. These Tiki mugs are inspired by Disney storytelling, adventure lore, and the classic tiki design elements. For those who want to add to their Tiki mug collection beyond the new Hyena mug, there are also the Zombie Mug, the Piranha Pool Mug, and the Krakatoa Punch Mug (all three are currently available for purchase). Mugs that are currently available for sale can be seen at the bar inside Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar.

There are also some fun details to be found throughout the bar. This includes an original ship-in-a-bottle from the Adventurers Club at Walt Disney World and a whaling harpoon from the 1954 Walt Disney Pictures film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar is exactly what its name purports it to be. It is full of enchantment, delicious food, and drinks. Stories and details bring the location to life in a way that Disney does best!
