The opening date, full set list, and a collection of celebrity cameos have been announced for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. The attraction in Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be opening on May 26, 2026. When it does, The Electric Mayhem are set to headline the biggest Hollywood concert ever. There is one small catch ahead of the concert, however. Nobody can find the legendary rock band.
Over on the other side of town, guests will be arriving at G-Force Records. There, they will be treated to a VIP tour of this legendary rock and roll recording studio. Things have changed a bit, though. There is new management at the label: The Muppets! This comes from the help of Scooter’s uncle, the real estate tycoon and owner of the Muppet Theatre, J.P. Grosse. The Muppets have moved in and already made this studio their own. It bodes to be the perfect place for the Muppets to record!
Courtyard
The influence of The Muppets will be seen from the moment fans walk into the courtyard. The guitar in the courtyard will have a bold new paint job that reflects the style of The Electric Mayhem. The ruby-red guitar will feature a vibrant, psychedelic design inspired by the paint job of the Muppets’ car in The Muppet Movie. The piano motif underneath will feature a golden key as a nod to Dr. Teeth.
Halls of Rock
Inside G-Force Records, the tour has begun, and gives fans a look at where the melodic magic is made. The decor inside is inspired by its new inhabitants. Posters can be found decorating the halls as guests make their way through.
The posters will highlight the larger-than-life career of The Electric Mayhem. They will also give plenty of photo ops for guests in line.
As has been the case for five decades, celebrities continue to follow The Muppets around. Just like on the original The Muppet Show, which debuted fifty years ago this year and has continued ever since, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will have a collection of celebrities making cameos. Eagle-eyed fans can spot these cameos starting in the queue and continuing all the way through to the gift shop. Through the experience, guests may spot the following celebrities:

- Danny Trejo
- Darren Criss
- John Stamos
- Neil Patrick Harris
- Travis Barker
- Yvette Nicole Brown
- Wayne Brady
- “Weird Al” Yankovic
The Muppets Jam
Of course, guests who are visiting have been given VIP passes so that they can visit inside the recording studio. There, The Electric Mayhem will be rocking out to Can You Picture That? as they rehearse for the big concert. At the rehearsal, the first-ever Audio-Animatronics figure of Scooter will be found, along with some of the best audio engineers (penguins!). They are all doing their best to convince the band to stop jamming and to get across town for the big show! But will they make it in time?
Thankfully, Muppet Labs has been hard at work, and one of the newest technological advancements will be put to work. This will be a super-powered vehicle that is sitting in the alleyway behind Studio C. It is known as the Lengthy Immediate Motion Object, or L.I.M.O.!
Set List
Along with announcing the opening date, the full set list for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets was revealed. This comes after the reveals this week of Song 2 and Born to Be Wild, which sees Camilla the Chicken joining The Electric Mayhem for the performance. Camilla isn’t the only collaborator that the band is working with for this attraction, however. They also collaborated with Jennifer Hudson, Questlove, Def Leppard, and Kelly Clarkson!

As guests get to experience each song, there will be differences in energy, tempo, and attitude as it creates a concert-style experience for guests aboard the attraction. This is an experience where the soundtrack won’t just play. Instead, it will go from zero to sixty in three… two… one! Just like all great shows, the fun won’t stop with the final note. The band has also been working on some bonus tracks!
Starting on May 26th, fans will get to rock out with The Muppets at Walt Disney World Resort, and it looks like it’ll be a lot of fun!
