Earlier this week, the first song for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets was revealed to be Song 2 by Blur. The Electric Mayhem will be rocking out to this song when guests race through this attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Today, a second song was revealed by Disney. This song will see Camilla the Chicken being featured by the Electric Mayhem. The second song in this setlist is Born to Be Wild.
Born to Be Wild will be performed by The Electric Mayhem, featuring Camilla the Chicken, for guests to hear as they blast away on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. Guests will hear this song (and others) during this rock-charged concert experience from the moment they launch up until the attraction finishes. Disney has been releasing songs this week ahead of the release of the opening date for the attraction on Thursday.
About Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets
In Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, there will be a new band in town at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Electric Mayhem are set to headline the biggest Hollywood concert ever. There is one small catch ahead of the concert, however. Nobody can find the legendary rock band.
Over on the other side of town, guests will be arriving at G-Force Records. There, they will be treated to a VIP tour of this legendary rock and roll recording studio. Things have changed a bit, though. There is new management at the label: The Muppets! This comes from the help of Scooter’s uncle, the real estate tycoon and owner of the Muppet Theatre, J.P. Grosse. The Muppets have moved in and already made this studio their own. It bodes to be the perfect place for the Muppets to record!
Born to Be Wild
Born to Be Wild was originally written by Mars Bonfire and performed by Steppenwolf. Next, it will be performed by the Electric Mayhem Featuring Camilla the Chicken. It was featured in the 1969 movie, Easy Rider. It is sometimes described as the first “heavy metal” song. It joins Song 2 in the setlist of tunes for this Walt Disney World Resort attraction with The Muppets. It would add to what could be a great lineup for a second vinyl record by the Electric Mayhem (here’s Daps Magic’s review of the first one). Another Animal Appearance
Appropriately enough, Animal has been appearing on social media this week, making videos highlighting the attraction. Earlier this week, he teased the full set list. Today, Animal had some fun with the name of the attraction. He clearly likes it. See the video here:
Along with the Electric Mayhem, Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, The Great Gonzo, Scooter, and other Muppet (yay Penguins!) will be found in and around Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.
