On this day in 2011, the band British Invasion ended their 15-year run performing at the U.K. Pavilion in EPCOT at Walt Disney World. The group began as a Beatles tribute band, playing sets from each Beatles era while dressed in costumes to match. In later years, they expanded to include songs from other popular British artists of the 1960s. In total, British Invasion performed over 20,000 times between their first appearance in 1996 (then at EPCOT Center) until their last in 2011! [15 years ago in 2026]
