The Lunar New Year celebration at the Disneyland Resort is officially underway. From January 23 through February 22, guests can visit Disney California Adventure and experience this celebration of Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cultures. This includes some incredible food offerings, character interactions, merchandise, and entertainment.
One of the bigger entertainment offerings is Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession. This procession has made its way through the park for several years now and features Mulan and Mushu aboard a float being hosted by a wide collection of performers. This year, they are also joined by Chip ‘n’ Dale, who are wearing new outfits that have Chip on board the back of Mulan’s float, dressed as a Chinese Lion. Dale follows behind dressed as a dragon. The new costumes are incredibly cute, and the fact that they are on Chip and Dale just adds to how adorable they are.
The Daps Magic team caught the first performance of Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession. Check out Chip and Dale’s new outfits in the following video:

Chip and Dale in these new Lunar New Year outfits can only be seen in the procession. Be sure to check for the times on the Disneyland App. What do you think of these new outfits for these chipmunks? Which one is your favorite? Share your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
