On this day in 2003, ‘X2,’ also known as ‘X2: X-Men United,’ was released by 20th Century Fox. It was the second installment in the ‘X-Men’ franchise. Most of the major characters returned with their original actors, and several new Mutants were added, including Nightcrawler and Lady Deathstrike. ‘X2’ sees Professor X kidnapped and his school attacked. The remaining X-Men need to form an unlikely alliance with Magneto to defend Mutant-kind and set everything right.
