The themes for the 2026 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend presented by Honda have been announced. The Disneyland Half Marathon will place January 29 through February 1, 2026.
Get ready, get set, and smile to “Celebrate Joy” because runDisney is going to “Celebrate Happy!” There is even more happy news as this event is happening during the 70th anniversary of the Disneyland Resort! This race weekend will be themed to different ways to celebrate what delights us most, imagine the Happiest Race on Earth at the Happiest Place on Earth.
On Friday, January 30, you are invited to join Joy from Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out films to “Celebrate Joy” during your 3.1 miles (5K)! Price for the 5K is $130, which includes a 6.6% platform service fee.
You can “Celebrate Imagination” with Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey as you get ready for 6.2 magical miles (10K) on Saturday, January 31! The 10K is $185, which includes a 6.6% platform service fee.
On Sunday, February 1, you can “Celebrate Togetherness” during 13.1 miles (Half Marathon) of “it’s a small world” wonders so be sure to bring a friend! The price of the Half Marathon is $270, which includes a 6.6% platform service fee.
Those up for a challenge can also “Celebrate Achievement” with Dumbo and earn an extra medal by finishing both the 10K and the half marathon for a total of 19.3 miles! The price of the Challenge is $450, which includes a 6.6% platform service fee.
Kids are not being left out of the fun of the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend. Kids 9 and under can “Celebrate Laughter” on Saturday, January 31, as they jump into exciting runs featuring Stitch, a.k.a. Experiment 626. The runDisney Kids Races are $45, which includes a 6.6% platform service fee.
If you are looking for something other than running for this Half Marathon Weekend, you’re in luck as you are invited to get ready to stretch and “Celebrate Smiles” on Thursday, January 29 during a morning yoga session with the magnificent Miss Piggy in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. The morning yoga session is $140, which includes a 6.6% platform service fee.
Runners wanting to join for the 2026 event should mark their calendars for the following registration dates and times. Those part of Club runDisney will be able to register on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. General Registration will open Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
