‘Star Wars: Visions’ Volume 3 Comes to Disney+ This October

Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 will be arriving on Disney+ on October 29, 2025. Volume 3 of Star Wars: Visions will include nine new shorts! The news was made at Star Wars Celebration Japan by Lucasfilm’s James Waugh. He also showed a sizzle reel for the upcoming release as well. It looks pretty impressive.

Along with announcing the release date for Star Wars: Visions Volume 3, it was also announced that there will be an all-new spin-off series of longer stories from Star Wars: Visions.

During the panel, he invited The Ninth Jedi writer and director Kenji to the stage. Kenji Kamiyama thanked the audience for being so supportive and enthusiastic about the adventures of Kara and Juro in The Ninth Jedi and also the upcoming Child of Hope. It was at this point that he announced that Kara’s journey would continue to develop in an all-new spinoff called Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi.

An exact for the release of this new spinoff was not unveiled. It will be coming out in 2026 at some point.
