After announcing that a new Star Wars movie is going into production later this year. Star Wars: Starfighter will be taking place about “half a dozen years” after Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. It will star Ryan Gosling. In an interview released from Star Wars Celebration Japan, Shawn Levy talked about the origins of this movie. It comes down to “What do we want a Star Wars movie to be?” It is also a script that came to life thanks to the efforts of both Gosling and Levy.
