There are a lot of exciting things happening for Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration. This includes new entertainment, merchandise, food, and a whole lot more. Inside it’s a small world, there will be new characters and a new verse added to the iconic attraction. On the outside of the attraction, a new projection show will light up the facade at night.
Tapestry of Happiness will utilize light, music, and projection effects nightly on the facade of it’s a small world. It will create an animated mosaic of Disneyland attractions, moments, and memories. These will be brought to life in a unique style inspired by the work of legendary Disney artist Mary Blair. It will also feature the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration theme song, Celebrate Happy, along with other Disneyland tunes through the years.
This new nighttime show is described as a “visual love letter to Disneyland.” It will bring people together through memories of The Happiest Place on Earth. It also hopes to remind everyone that no matter how old they are or where they consider home, we all can come together in the magical place known as Disneyland and see it through the eyes of our inner child. By doing this, everyone can find happiness in a unique and personal way.
At this point, concept art for Tapestry of Happiness has not been revealed. Daps Magic will share any updates about this nighttime projection show as they become available. All Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration updates and information can be found on Daps Magic’s Disneyland70 page.
