On March 6th it was National Monorail Day. In honor of this day, the Disney Parks released a four-hour ambiance video of the Monorail at Walt Disney World Resort. It was posted with the following caption:
In honor of National Monorail Day on March 6th, climb aboard the Walt Disney World Resort Mark VI Monorail for 4 relaxing hours of the most magical transportation on Earth! Enjoy as many round trip loops as you like, just remember—please stand clear of the doors. Por favor manténgase alejado de las puertas.

The Monorail at Walt Disney World Resort opened on October 1, 1971, along with the rest of Walt Disney World. It runs throughout the Walt Disney World Resort at speeds of up to 40 miles per hour. Its average speed is 30 miles per hour. The Magic Kingdom Express runs between the Magic Kingdom and the Transportation and Ticket Center. This Monorail runs counter-clockwise. The Resort line runs clockwise with stops at the resorts around the Seven Seas Lagoon. The resorts it stops at are Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Finally, the EPCOT line runs from the Transportation and Ticket Center to EPCOT.
