1973 was another year in which Disneyland added no new attractions. In honor of the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney Productions, a tribute celebrating Walt Disney’s life and career was dedicated in the lobby of the Opera House in April. The lavish display included his actual former offices, along with awards, family photos, and a specially produced seven minute long film. Mrs. Walt Disney herself was on hand for ceremonies in October.
