A new feature has been added to the Disneyland and Walt Disney World apps for mobile ordering. It allows a guest to track their mobile order through notifications without the app being open. It is available on iOS devices. This update also allows guests to select “I’m Here” from the Live Activities display. It began to roll out today at select locations.
This new feature is not available at all mobile order locations yet. Disney shared that it is at some locations at both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. The update comes after some guests reported the feature sporadically a few weeks ago.
Both the Disneyland and Walt Disney World apps continue to get updated fairly frequently by Disney. It is unknown when this feature will complete its rollout for all mobile orders. It also is unknown if/when this feature will be arriving on Android devices.
