Wicked is still proving to be quite popular in theaters. Soon, it will have the chance to prove its popularity in homes. The musical will be available from digital download retailers for purchase or rent starting on December 31, 2024. Fans will be able to watch and sing along at home starting on New Year’s Eve. They will also be able to enjoy three hours of bonus features which include the sing-along version of the film, deleted and extended scenes, and looks into the making of the film.
Originally a Broadway musical that opened in 2003, Wicked has been made into a two-part theatrical film. The second part, Wicked: For Good will arrive in theaters on November 21, 2025. After arriving on digital download on December 31st, the first half will be released on 4K UHD, Blu-ray™, and DVD on February 4, 2025.
