The Andor Season 2 release date has been announced at D23 Brazil – A Disney Experience. It will arrive on Disney+ on April 22, 2025. The second season will follow Cassian Andor as he develops into a leader in the growing Rebel Alliance. This entire season will take place over the course of four years. It will be split into three-episode arcs.
Season 1 of Andor took place over the course of one year. This was about five years before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It followed Cassian’s life as he began to become a reluctant hero. Season two will pick up the story from where the end of season one left off and culminate in the events leading up to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. By the end of this series, Cassian Andor will be fighting for a higher calling in the fledgling Rebellion’s struggle against the Empire.
Those who were at D23 Brazil were treated to a new sneak peek of Andor Season 2. This has not been released online. However, the StarWars.com team was on hand on the show floor and captured some of B2EMO’s antics. Check out the video here:
