About the ‘Magic Journey Shinkansen’

The ‘Magic Journey Shinkansen’ will feature multiple Disney characters from the Walt Disney Animation Studios films that inspired the areas inside Fantasy Springs. This includes Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan. Once aboard the train, guests will also get to enjoy some more Fantasy Springs inspirations. This includes themed window shades that will be installed on the train. There will also be music played based on the eighth themed port at Tokyo DisneySea.

The train will be in service from October 10, 2024 into 2025. At this point, it is scheduled to continue until the beginning of June 2025. It will be the Tohoku-Hokkaido Shinkansen (between Tokyo and Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto).

Fantasy Springs

Tokyo Disney Resort opened Fantasy Springs on June 6, 2024. This new port is the eighth that can be found at Tokyo DisneySea. This port includes attractions, characters, and other experiences from Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan. Along with opening Fantasy Springs, Tokyo Disney Resort also opened the Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel. This allows for direct access to Fantasy Springs and many other magical experiences.
