On this day in 2009, George Kalogridis became president of the Disneyland Resort. Kalogridis started with Disney during college as a busboy at the Contemporary Resort. From there, he worked his way up to numerous high-level positions across Disney Parks. Kalogridis served as Disneyland’s president until 2013 when he was named president of the Walt Disney World Resort. He was even honored with a window on Main Street, U.S.A. in 2021!
