On this day in 2004, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire – Play It! closed at Disney California Adventure. The show emulated the popular TV game show. Each “episode” ran for 25 minutes and seated up to 647 audience members. Contestants played for points, not money, and won collectible pins for each correct answer, plus show apparel at the major milestones. One-million-point winners won either a trip to New York City or a Disney Cruise Line vacation for four. [20 years ago in 2024]
