On this day in 2019, the Main Street Electrical Parade returned to the Disneyland Resort for a limited run of just two months. It was the fifth time the parade kicked off in Anaheim. The original version was presented at Disneyland from 1972-1996. The run in 2019 would be the final time that the “To Honor America” finale float would appear. When the parade returned in 2022 for its 50th anniversary season, the finale was redesigned in the style of “it’s a small world.” [5 years ago in 2024]
