Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has found its Dr. Korby. This was a character from the original Star Trek: The Original Series who also happens to be Nurse Chapel’s ex-fiance. Originally played by Michael Strong, Dr. Korby will be portrayed by Cillian O’Sullivan (In From The Cold) in this upcoming season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
The news came during a Star Trek panel at San Diego Comic-Con. This part of the panel saw cast members Rebecca Romijn and Ethan Peck who were on the stage with executive producers Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, and Henry Alonso Myers. During the panel, a new clip from the upcoming season of Strange New Worlds was shown. This clip shows what happens when the crew end up becoming vulcan. While this has some benefits, it also has some unwelcome results as well. The clip can be seen here:
About Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is based on the years Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise. The series follows Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock, Number One, and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the starship, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy.
The series stars Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, Babs Olusanmokun, and Martin Quinn, along with special guest stars Paul Wesley and Carol Kane. The third season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will be arriving on Paramount+ in 2025. Already, a fourth season has been ordered for the series as well.
