D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is now just 23 days away! With this incredible Disney event just weeks away, more and more details are being released. This includes what the panel and presentations will be, how reservations will be made, and also details about the shopping and merchandise. There will be quite a few different offerings throughout this event for fans to shop during the course of the weekend. Below is a look at the different Disney-sponsored shopping destinations at the event. There will also be booths found on the show floor with other opportunities to shop as well.
World of Disney: The Product Experience
World of Disney: The Product Experience is billed as the must-visit destination to shop and explore new and limited-edition merchandise and from D23 Marketplace, Disney Publishing, Disney Store, and more. This is an expansive and reimagined shopping experience that will be located on North Level 200 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Brought to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event by Disney Consumer Products, Disney fans are invited to interact and engage with some favorite products and stories from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars.
D23 Marketplace
The D23 Marketplace is returning to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event again this year. It is found in its new home inside the World of Disney: The Product Experience. This is a 16,000 square-foot retail location that will bring together the most exciting products from DisneyStore.com and Disney Parks. This will include offering merchandise from fan-favorite collections that include Disney Limited Edition Dolls, the brand-new vinyl series Disney Lacers, along with Star Wars, and Pixar offerings as well. For those that love to pin trade, this is a great spot to buy all-new limited-edition styles including a special collection that was created for the 25th anniversary of Disney Pin Trading. At D23 Marketplace, fans will find new product debuts, curated brand collections, specialty items, and milestone anniversary collectibles.
DisneyStore.com
DisneyStore.com is the official home of genuine Disney merchandise for fans both young and old. There will be uniquely imagined special-edition products and collection. There will also be select items from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event for sale. This will include some must-haves from Star Wars and Marvel, Disney Limited Edition Dolls, and a new vinyl series called Disney Lacers (starting on Monday, August 12 at 8:00 AM PT at DisneyStore.com/D23Event2024 while supplies last).
Disney Publishing
Disney Publishing is a must visit shop for fans of reading. In fact, according to the release from D23, “Disney Publishing shares stories that foster a love of reading, inspire natural curiosity, and excite fans.” This has some incredible books, comics, magazines, digital interactive storytelling products, audiobooks, and more! The Disney Publishing merchandise will be located inside of World of Disney: The Product Experience. It will be the main destination for Disney books, fan-favorite stories, and collectible titles. There will also be first-to-market books from Bob Weis, former President of Walt Disney Imagineering; Pete Docter, Pixar Animation Studios’ Chief Creative Officer; Martha Blanding, incoming Disney Legend; Ashley Eckstein, voice of Ahsoka Tano in the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and others. There will also be opportunities to have these authors sign copies of their new books at both Talent Central and Live at World of Disney: The Product Experience.
This year, a new offering will give guests the chance to enjoy a new sip and shop experience. This will include the lastest blend from Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co.
The Walt Disney Company Store
The Walt Disney Company Store is appearing at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event for the very first time. It will be found in Hall H in TWO LOCATIONS. The store will feature new merchandise from The Walt Disney Studios, Walt Disney Archives, and The Walt Disney Company. Here is a brief overview of some of what will be found at the store:
- The Walt Disney Studios – Loungfly Studio Patches Canvas Backpack, Crossbody Bag highlighting Team Disney Building that includes a Disney Legends Award detachable coin purse.
- The Walt Disney Archives – Studio Baseball League Jersey
- The Walt Disney Company – Denim Jacket, Collegiate Ivory Tee, 16″ Computer Sleeve
There will also be collectible figurines depicting iconic locations across The Walt Disney Studios Lot. This includes the Partners Statue, Sharing the Magic Statue, Pluto’s Corner Sign, and Water Tower. The Walt Disney Company Store will also be home to the official merchandise for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. There will be a variety of event merchandise that range from varsity jackets to a pin trading backpack.

The Walt Disney Company Pin Store
The Walt Disney Company Pin Store will be found in Hall B. It will feature a wide range of limited-edition pins. There will be a new assortment found daily on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This store is a place that is great for pin collectors with lots of experience or pin collectors who are just getting started.

Mickey’s of Glendale
The Walt Disney Imagineering store, Mickey’s of Glendale, is returning this year to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Mickey’s of Glendale will have TWO STORE in Hall C of the Anaheim Convention Center. At this store there iwll be multiple collections featuring the work and talent of Disney Imagineers. These spotlight collections are unique and inspired by Disney characters, theme park attractions, and more. There will also be Disney Villain enamel figures and a collection from the comic book world of Walt Disney’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice to name a few things.
Mickey’s of Glendale Pin Store
Another shop that Disney pin collectors will want to visit is the Mickey’s of Glendale Pin Store. This location will also be releasing a new assortment of limited-edition pins daily on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Note: This location is cashless. It will also require guests to have the Disneyland app downloaded to their smartphone device to make a purchase. Arrive prepared and have the app downloaded and account created before visiting Mickey’s of Glendale Pin Store.
Disney Studio Store Hollywood
The Disney Studio Store Hollywood is returning to Anaheim and will be found in Hall B. Guests will be able to purchase newly released limited-edition pins, framed pin sets, and official Disney Studio Store Hollywood branded apparel. There will also be new limited-edition pins being released on both Friday and Saturday. Guests will also be able to snap a selfie in the photo op that will be found at this location.

Sponsors and Licensees
There will also be some other fan-favorite brands and shopping opportunities on the show floor at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Throughout these different locations, there will be new and D23-exclusive merchandise that include mini backpacks, keychains, and pins from Loungefly. There will also be a lab-grown Mickey Mouse pendant from Pandora, event-branded charms from RockLove Jewelry, and also pieces featuring Disney Princesses and Villain characters from Enchanted Disney Fine Jewelry. Citizen Watch will have Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars-inspired watches along with the new limited-edition Infinity Gem Collection from East Continental Gems. Other brands on hand will include Cakeworthy, RSVLTS, Rock ‘Em Socks, BoxLunch, and Her Universe. Her Universe will have event-exclusive and first-to-purchase apparel for sale. On top of all of that, Disney Lorcana TCG will have a limited-edition D23 Collection at Ravensburger’s booth on the show floor. Hallmark will also have a Keepsake Ornament. There will also be a new Stitch collection from Kidrobot and Just Play will have a new Disney Doorables collection. This just scratches the surface of what will be offered.
More Shopping Details
Shopping at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event will be again utilizing mobile checkout and virtual queue at select locations. Both of these offerings can be found through links on the D23 App or the Disneyland App. All merchandise is subject to availability and inventory may sell out. The number of items per purchase will be limited.
Virtual Queue
D23 Marketplace, The Walt Disney Company Store, The Walt Disney Company Pin Store, Mickey’s of Glendale (Friday only), Mickey’s of Glendale Pin Store, and Disney Studio Store Hollywood (Friday and Saturday only) will require the virtual queue for fans to access these shop during these times. The virtual queue will be required to shop at these locations right from the start of the event each day at 9:00 AM when it opens. There will be no stand-by queues available in the morning. however, in the afternoon it is possible that stand-by opportunities may become available after all virtual queue boarding groups have been recalled. Traditional queuing will be available at locations that aren’t using a virtual queue.
The virtual queue will allow fans to enjoy the show floor while waiting their turn to shop. They can sign up for a boarding group in the virutal queue on the Disneyland app and through the D23 app. They will then receive a notification when its their turn to shop. It should be noted that joining the virtual queue does not grant immediate access to any experience. There may still be a queue and wait at the location. There is also limited capacity for the virtual queue and it is subject to availability.
Disneyland App
Time can be saved when shopping by paying for items through the Disneyland App at select locations. This can be done by scanning each item’s barcode to add it to a virtual shopping bag and then pay for the items by selecting “Purchase.” Once the purchase has been completed, show the QR code confirmation to a cast member at the merchandise mobile checkout station to stand before exiting the store. A digital receipt is then sent to the email address that is linked to the Disneyland app. All eligible discounts are automatically applied utilizing the Disneyland App. The merchandise mobile checkout service is an additional way to check out alongside traditional checkout services.
