For many months, a planter in front of Disneyana and the Opera House at Disneyland on Main Street, USA, has been missing a tree. The planter once had a beautiful old tree that towered over the area and provided shade. This week, a new tree was installed in the planter. This new tree is larger than some that are found along Main Street, USA, but not as large as some of the other trees found in Town Square.
On Thursday night, Daps Magic team member Steven stopped by the Disneyland Resort and discovered this new tree. Below are photos that Steven took of the new tree. As can be seen in the photos, this tree is a decent size and fills the space nicely. A tree in the background of one of the pictures demonstrates what the tree this new tree is replacing once looked like. Take a look below.

As can be seen in the pictures, there isn’t grass in this planter with the new tree. This may happen later. The new tree comes after a couple of trees were lost over the last winter. With a strong El Niño expected this winter, it is very possible that there will be other new trees coming to The Happiest Place on Earth. There is an incredible team tasked with taking care of these types of things at the Disneyland Resort. They will be watching trees throughout the resort to make sure they stay healthy and safe for guests and cast members who enjoy the shade they offer.
