Deadpool is heading to Disney California Adventure! The character is arriving at Avengers Campus at the Disneyland Resort on Friday, July 26, 2024. This is the same day that Deadpool & Wolverine arrives in theaters. He will be meeting with guests at Avengers Campus for a limited time. He will also be arriving at Avengers Campus Disneyland Paris’ Walt Disney Studios Park on July 24, 2024. The Disney Parks shared some photos of Deadpool taking pictures around Disney California Adventure.
Deadpool is the newest of many different characters who have had limited visits at Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure. There have been many different limited-time visits since the area opened by characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This includes Scarlet Witch, Moon Knight, Werewolf, M’Baku, and Hulk in his Quantum Suit to name a few.
The arrival of Deadpool will be a welcome one by fans of the Ryan Reynolds-led trilogy. Deadpool, also known as Wade Wilson, is an anti-hero, now in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is known for his regenerative healing factor, witty humor, and breaking the fourth wall, often addressing the audience directly. Created by writer Fabian Nicieza and artist Rob Liefeld, Deadpool is a skilled mercenary with a morally ambiguous nature and a penchant for chaotic, unpredictable behavior. He is played by Ryan Reynolds in the movies from Marvel Studios.
