A new LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series TIE Interceptor set has been unveiled ahead of May the 4th. This new LEGO set will be released on May 1, 2024. It is being released as part of the celebration of 25 years of LEGO Star Wars.
This ship is a redesign of the original TIE Interceptor LEGO set that was a part of the original launch of the Ultimate Collector Series in 2000. This new set has 1,931 pieces and is over 12,5 inches high, 16 inches long, and 13 inches wide.
“Finally making the UCS TIE Interceptor again after so many years was so exciting for me,” Henrik Andersen, designer master at the LEGO Group, told StarWars.com. “Compared to the last time I designed the UCS TIE Interceptor, I was now able to create a close-to-perfect replica of the movie prop. It’s always been one of my favorite Star Wars ships.”
This LEGO set was designed after the ship that first appeared in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. It is also mountable on a printed plaque. It also comes with two exclusive minifigures: a TIE Pilot and an Imperial mouse droid. Below is a look at this LEGO Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series TIE Interceptor set.
