On this day in 1951, the Donald Duck cartoon short ‘Dude Duck’ was released. Donald heads to the Bar-None Dude Ranch for a relaxing vacation. However, he is the last one off the bus and ends up with the last pick of the horses. His not-so-faithful steed Rover Boy wants nothing to do with Donald and the two engage in a battle of wills! ‘Dude Duck’ would be brought back in 1990 and paired with ‘DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp.’
