Progress continues to be made at EPCOT on finishing the last part of its years-long transformation. Soon, the walls will be down and guests will be able to wander around and in the new CommuniCore Hall and see entertainment on the CommuniCore Plaza stage. Disney has announced that starting on June 10th, these things and more will be possible.
When guests visit the CommuniCore Plaza stage throughout the summer, they will be able to experience a new limited-time show several times throughout the day. ¡Celebración Encanto! will be a sing-along that will be fun for the whole family. It will include some favorite songs from Disney’s Encanto. It will also give the chance for guests to see Mirabel and Bruno up on the CommuniCore Plaza stage. The show is currently in development. It will be presented at the CommuniCore Plaza stage from June 10 through September 6, 2024.
Along with the new show at CommuniCore Plaza stage, there will be other new experiences for guests in the areas. Guests will be able to walk through and around CommuniCore Hall with no walls found anywhere anymore! This will be home to the iconic EPCOT festivals and other celebrations in the future. Disney promises that more information about that will be released in the future. It will also offer a cool place for families to recharge during a day at EPCOT. CommuniCore Hall will also be surrounded by exciting experiences and beautiful views. Mickey & Friends will have a new character greeting location. There will also be a beautiful mural that celebrates all things EPCOT, both past and present, along with a geometric exterior design that is inspired by Spaceship Earth, and also Mickey Mouse and his pals. This will be a magical place to visit in the middle of EPCOT.
As EPCOT continues to evolve, Disney promises that the new “luscious greenery and relaxing spaces” found at CommuniCore Plaza and Inspiration Gardens will add to the beauty of the already revealed World Celebration Gardens. There will also be more food and beverages and more entertainment that will be coming to the area. Disney promises to reveal details about this in the future.
