Just before Valentine’s Day, Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons made several announcements. This includes a new venue at Walt Disney World Resort, princess dresses, and a beautiful new platinum coach for weddings at the Disneyland Resort. Below is a look at all of the new offerings that were announced today by Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons.
New EPCOT Wedding Venue
Disney has announced its newest wedding venue in EPCOT. This is an absolutely gorgeous location that joins the more than 100 immersive themed locations found throughout Disney theme parks, resorts, cruise ships, and other locations throughout the world. This new location is found in World Celebration Gardens in the heart of EPCOT. This new wedding venue at Walt Disney World Resort is available to book private, after-hours ceremonies and receptions starting in January 2025 and beyond.
This wedding venue sees the gardens evolve from a gorgeous location to what is described as jaw-dropping. It includes the magical lighting package of Spaceship Earth as a backdrop for the World Celebration Gardens. This custom lighting enhancement features dazzling lights and changing color patterns that are all choreographed to music to create a magical moment for happy couples and their guests to cherish forever. Anyone who has experienced this area at night and seen it transform for a Beacon of Magic moment could imagine the possibilities of this venue.
New Coach at Disneyland Resort
Weddings at the Disneyland Resort just got more magical with the arrival of the new Cinderella Platinum Coach. This new coach is adorned with details that are inspired by Disney’s classic love story, Cinderella. This includes a pumpkin canopy along with an interior shrouded in delicate vines with more than 75 hand-shaped leaves.
This new coach will be available beginning in March 2024 and will round out the trio of carriages that includes the Cinderella Coach at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and also the Disney Fairy Tale Carriage at Disneyland Paris.
Princess-Inspired Gowns
Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons also revealed the new 2024 princess-inspired gown collection from Allure Bridals. This beautiful collection of dresses is inspired by Disney’s Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Snow White, and Tiana. Disney shared today that “each dress evokes the spirit of its namesake princess to capture the bride’s own style and personality.” This collection will be available starting on February 1, 2024.
“The new gown collection, EPCOT venue and coach continue our tradition of bringing fairy tales to life for couples,” said Korri McFann, marketing director, Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons. “Immersive, one-of-a-kind wedding venues set the stage, and we add to that with countless experiences and details that allow us to tell each couple’s unique love story in enchanting and magical ways.”
In total, there are 18 gowns in this collection, two for each princess. They are adorned with countless details and feature innovative fabrics, including a signature sparkle tulle on the Jasmine-inspired gown. There is also a laser-cut whimsical lace design on soft satin to adorn a Rapunzel-inspired style. For the Cinderella-inspired ballgown, there is a unique platinum colorway, with metallic-backed Chantilly lace and unique beaded lace appliques. The Tiana-inspired look emphasizes a glamorous style, shimmering with thousands of beads and sequins that capture the spirit of the Jazz Age.
The first bridal line that was launched by Disney and Allure Bridals was in 2020. These collections offer stunning, on-trend gowns that showcase the style and spirit of beloved Disney Princess characters. Now, four years later, Allure Bridals offers even more options that can allow for a transformation of a bride’s look. This includes detachable overskirts for several of their gowns. The Aurora and Tiana gowns also feature detachable sleeves for a chic, transitional option from the aisle to the reception. There are many different options that include ethereal puff sleeves or dreamy accessories like custom veils and delicate tulle flowers to offer a dress that will be perfect for any bride.
Each of Disney and Allure Bridals’ gowns is available in sizes 0 to 30. They start in price at $1,799 and are available to purchase at any authorized Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Collection retailer.
