Disneyland Refurbishment Report – November 8, 2023

Welcome back to the Disneyland Refurbishment Report. There’s a lot happening yet again this week as the transformation of the Parks to the holiday season is seeing its last few decorations being prepped and ready.

The excitement this week, however, is what’s happening in Downtown Disney. Walls were removed from near the new Downtown Disney stage, and it’s very exciting to see. The stage is set to open Friday. We are looking forward to seeing all the entertainment that is coming to the new stage.

Also exciting to see in Downtown Disney is new signage on the construction walls for Din Tai Fung. This super popular dining location will open in 2024. Din Tai Fung is a world-renowned Chinese restaurant originating in Taiwan that specializes in soup dumplings and noodles.

We now head over to Disney California Adventure. Holiday decor is going up in Cars Land, and that’s always fun to see. We also see this week that the Port of San Fransokyo sign is being added to San Fransokyo Square.

As we head over to Disneyland, we make our way up Main Street, U.S.A. where the Christmas tree has been in place since Monday. Some of Mickey garland and wreaths have been placed across Main Street and the light poles.

In the Hub, poinsettias surround the Partners Statue and they always bring lots of color to this area.

Over near Small World Promenade, the festive wreaths featuring many fun designs have been placed on the light poles, the Smiley Clock Tower has its giant Santa hat, and lights have been placed on the facade and topiaries.

It’s going to be an exciting time during the holiday season at the Disneyland Resort. We will share more next week!
