It is a great time to be a Star Trek fan. Earlier this year, we looked at all the different ships to carry the name Enterprise. This was a look at all the iterations of the USS Enterprise as seen through all the Star Trek series and movies. Since 1966, the Enterprise has been a star itself in Star Trek since James T. Kirk first said “Space… the final frontier… These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise…” Since then, people have studied this starship and the ships of the same name that followed. Currently, there are versions of the ship that go from the original Enterprise through NCC-1701 G, of which Captain Seven of Nine is now captain.
Jace Ridley, a Star Trek fan, posted artwork that he created on X/Twitter that showcases the different sizes of all of the different versions of the Enterprise in Star Trek. His artwork combines 9 iterations of the ship that starts with Captain Archer’s and goes all the way through the prime timeline of the NCC-1701 ships up through Captain Seven’s Enterprise-G. Check out his artwork comparing the sizes of the ships below.
Good Morning. 🙂

It is interesting to look at the sizes of these different versions of the Enterprise. It is very easy to think that the Enterprise-D is the biggest version of the ship. However, looking at the artwork from Ridley, it is clear that the Enterprise-F is indeed the largest version of the ship. Here are the dimensions (from what we can tell, please let us know if you have found better information) of the Enterprise through the years:
