Disney has announced that EPCOT’s newest attraction, Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana, will be soft opening starting October 6th. This will continue through October 15th on select days and hours. These will be magical surprises for guests who are in EPCOT. The attraction will be officially opening on October 16, 2023.
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana will allow guests to see and interact with water as it goes on a journey from the sky to the oceans and then back again. The whole experience will be themed, unsurprisingly, around the story of Moana. The new attraction is found in the World Nature neighborhood in EPCOT.
It is one of many new offerings that have been a part of EPCOT’s transformation in recent years. This includes Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, the renaming of areas of the park to different neighborhoods, the transformation of the opening of the entrance into the park, new shops, dining establishments, and more.
