Disney+ has sent an email out to subscribers announcing a $60 annual price increase starting on November 12th. The increase of cost comes as Disney continues to change its streaming model from a focus on subscribers to a focus on making the streaming model profitable. Late last year, Disney+ added an ad-tiered model for its streaming service.
The following email was sent to Disney+ subscribers who currently purchase the ad-free version of the service:

*Annual savings compared to 12 months of the price of a Disney+ Premium (monthly) subscription at the new price of $13.99/month.
The price change comes a month after the monthly ad-free subscription saw its price moved from $10.99 to $13.99. Hulu’s ad-free and ESPN offerings are also seeing prices go up as well. The bundles are also seeing prices go up. The price increase for the annual Disney+ comes exactly four years to the day after Disney+ launched in 2019.
