All-Day Park Hopping Returning to Walt Disney World Resort

All-Day Park Hopping Returns to Walt Disney World Resort

Today Walt Disney World Resort has announced that all-day park hopping will be returning for tickets with Park Hopping and also Annual Passes. Currently, Park Hopping is only available after 2:00 PM. However, starting on January 9, 2024, Park Hopping will be allowed at Walt Disney World Resort all day. This will be subject to capacity limitations. At this time, the park hopping policy at Disneyland Resort is NOT changing. Those who want to Park Hop at the California parks will still need to wait until 11:00 AM and have a Park Hopping ticket or Magic Key. The following social media post was shared by Disney Parks this morning announcing the news for Walt Disney World Resort:

Starting on January 9th, tickets with the Park Hopping option or Annual Passes will be able to switch parks once a first park has been visited. This means that one could walk into the Magic Kingdom in the morning and immediately after scanning in, turn around and head to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Good to Go Days

The Walt Disney World Resort also announced “good-to-go days” for Annual Passholders. These “good-to-go days” will be sporadically picked by Disney from the theme park reservation calendar where reservations for Annual Passholders will not be required. This will not override any blockout dates that may apply. It will, however, give those with Annual Passes the ability to visit the parks without a park reservation. This is all contingent on different levels of Annual Passes not being blocked out.

These “good-to-go days” are in addition to the ability of Annual Passholders to enter the parks without a reservation after 2:00 PM, except for the Magic Kingdom on Saturday and Sundays.
