Halloween Time is being celebrated in full force at the Disneyland Resort. During this spooky time of year, there are plenty of different experiences to be enjoyed throughout the Disneyland Resort. This includes some incredible foods, entertainment, and of course attractions! While there are plenty of different experiences to be had during the Halloween Time season around the resort, there are five things that every guest at the Disneyland Resort should make sure and experience! Below is a look at these five experiences and why the Daps Magic team thinks they should not be missed!
Haunted Mansion Holiday
Haunted Mansion Holiday is a classic Halloween Time attraction. Yes, it sticks around for quite some time after Halloween Time. However, this is a version of this iconic attraction that truly embraces the Halloween spirit, with the help of Jack Skellington! It is perhaps the most Halloween-centric experience to be had throughout the Disneyland Resort that should probably be on the top of the list for Halloween experiences for guests!
Meet Jack Skellington and Sally
While stopping by the Haunted Mansion Holiday in New Orleans Square, also go and visit Jack Skellington and Sally for the perfect Halloween picture! They are generally at their location near the Pieces of Eight shop, although sometimes they go out for a stroll along the Rivers of America. Meeting this duo is a fantastic experience every time and one of the best photo ops to be found throughout the Disneyland Resort during Halloween Time. It should also be noted that Mickey and friends are also meeting with guests in their Halloween costumes in Town Square on Main Street, USA in Disneyland and also in Carthay Circle at Disney California Adventure. It is a blast to meet them and get pictures taken with all of these friends as well!
Halloween Screams
Continuing with the Jack Skellington path, Halloween Screams is an incredible nighttime spectacular that lights up the night skies over Disneyland. This includes some incredible projections and special effects during the show. Some nights this is a fireworks show and other nights it is projections only. It has great music either way and also great moments for fans of Halloween to enjoy. It is also fantastic seeing Zero fly through the skies over Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Dapper Dans
During Halloween Time, the Dapper Dans have a fun Halloween approach to their performances. They also change their outfits to match the spirit of the season. They perform some classic Disney music that have some haunted connections (like the Headless Horseman and Grim Grinning Ghosts!). They can be found around Main Street, USA throughout the day. Check the Disneyland App for specific times. Don’t miss the Dapper Dans during the Halloween Time season!
Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark
Over at Disney California Adventure, Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark is a can’t-miss attraction during the Halloween season. This is a fun adventure that combines the excitement of the Guardians of the Galaxy with the spookiness of Halloween. The attraction features a catchy song that is sure to get stuck in your head as you embark on a fantastic adventure with Rocket, who is on a mission to rescue Groot!
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is one of the most fun times of the year! The five experiences above are all experiences that should not be missed during the Halloween season. However, there are also specialty foods (although I personally love a caramel apple), merchandise, and a whole lot more to enjoy at the Disneyland Resort during this season.
