“Playdate with Winnie the Pooh” Premieres During Disney Junior & Friends Playdate

Playdate With Winnie the Pooh premiered during Disney Junior & Friends Playdate at the Disneyland Resort on August 18, 2023. This new approach to Winnie the Pooh shows some familiar friends from the Hundred Acre Wood when they were much younger. It’s hard to believe… they might even be much cuter as well. The musical series emphasizes collaborative play and the joy of spending time with others.

Episodes of the new series built around Winnie the Pooh was shown during a media and VIP event in the morning. This included a look at other programs from Disney Junior as well. The first episode then premiered during the Disney Junior & Friends Playdate celebration at Disney California Adventure later in the day. It also debuted on YouTube as well and can be seen below.

Winnie the Pooh and his friends enjoy all of kinds Playdates at their Treehouse in the Hundred Acre Wood. From flying a kite with Piglet to playing games like “Hide-and-Go-Seek” with Kanga, there’s always something fun for Pooh to do with his pals. Tigger gets his bounces out and learns how to play the harmonica; Eeyore discovers he can make more colors by combining paints; and Rabbit helps Piglet see how exciting it is to try an avocado.

Disney Junior & Friends Playdate took over Disney California Adventure on Friday with entertainment, activities, meet and greet, and a whole lot of fun. The Daps Magic team covered the event and had a delightful day. Between previews, entertainment, character meet and greets, and delicious foods, there was a lot to be enjoyed during this special event. There are also a lot of things to be excited about from Disney Junior.
