Guests who have been visiting Disney California Adventure in recent months have been able to see the progress being made on the transformation of Pacific Wharf into San Fransokyo Square. This transformation, announced at the 2022 D23 Expo, sees the world and characters of Big Hero 6 get a permament at the Disneyland Resort. It will include a new meet and greet location, merchandise, and also food options. Today Disney announced that the new area will be completed and officially welcoming guests on August 31, 2023.

The transformation of Pacific Wharf to San Fransokyo Square will see some of the new locations beginning to have new offerings starting in the coming week.
