Statement Released Ahead of Planned Strike on June 6 From Disneyland Paris

On June 6, Cast Members are planning on a strike at Disneyland Paris. Ahead of the strike on Tuesday, June 6th, Disneyland Paris released a statement on Twitter regarding disruptions the strike could bring to its operations.

The following statement was released by Disneyland Paris:

Due to a planned strike at Disneyland Paris by our employees on Tuesday 6th June, certain shows or activities may be disrupted or even cancelled.

The Disney Parks and Hotels will remain open and we will do everything possible to continue to provide the best experience possible. If you wish, you are welcome to postpone your visit to a later date.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

The statement comes after multiple days of strikes have already been held at Disneyland Paris. Cast Members are looking for a monthly pay raise of 200 Euro per month along with higher pay for Sundays, among other better working conditions.

If you are planning on visiting Disneyland Paris in the near future, be sure to check the Disneyland Paris social media channels, website, and news to see what the conditions are for your visit. It also might be worth postponing the trip if that is a possibility.

Disneyland Paris will not be the only place in France impacted by strikes on June 6th. Unions have called on protests nationwide against President Macron’s law to raise the retirement age in France. Extra police have been assigned in preparation for the day.

Daps Magic will continue to follow this story and provide updates as they become available.
