The spring issue of Disney twenty-three will soon be making its way to Gold members’ mailboxes and when it does, it will be taking them into the grid. This edition will head into the Grid as it takes a look at Magic Kingdom’s newest attraction TRON Lightcycle / Run. This includes looking back at the inspiration for the attraction found in TRON and then TRON: Legacy. Gold members will also be receiving a new magnet that features Mickey Mouse “Leader of the Club” Milestone Statue artwork.
Chris Baetty, Portfolio Creative Director for Walt Disney Imagineering shared about the story for the attraction in the issue in an exclusive interview. “We wanted to make sure TRON Lightcycle / Run is fun and thrilling and delivers on the heart and soul of TRON and the excitement of racing on the Grid,” Beatty says in the Spring issue of Disney twenty-three. Readers will learn how Imagineering is getting ready for the opening of this new attraction that will take guests into the Grid.
This issue will also look at a new exhibit that celebrates the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company. Over in Philadelphia at The Franklin Institute, Disney100: The Exhibition will be opening on February 18. This exhibit will have some of the “Crown Jewels” of The Walt Disney Archives and share the history of Disney in a very unique and interesting way.
The spring edition of Disney twenty-three will also take a look at Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This will be kicking off with Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. In an interview with actor Paul Rudd, viewers will find out more about it significance for the future of Marvel Cinematic Universe. There is also a look at Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 as well, among other things.

Explore this one-of-a-kind exhibition with a behind-the-scenes look at the themed galleries, innovative technology, and rarely seen treasures from the Walt Disney Archives’ vault that offer new perspectives on these beloved stories.
The highly anticipated Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)—the continuation of the Multiverse Saga—kicks off with the release of Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania on February 17. As readers take the leap into the Quantum Realm, stars Paul Rudd (Scott Lang/Ant-Man) and Jonathan Majors (Kang the Conqueror), as well as director Peyton Reed, share big details about this microscopic universe.
